How do I turn off the screen saver? The screen goes black after a few minutes, and its somewhat annoying. I would like to simply turn it off:-)

thanks

start --> settings ---> control panel ---> display ---> select the 'screen saver' tab ---> choose 'none' from the drop down menu.

Assuming you're using Windows, that is.

I think XP introduced a weird control panel too, but if you select the classic view (as I do), or can find display settings in there, the above will work fine.

no...I'm not talking about the pc..I'm talking about receptor. Whenever I plugin a monitor, after a few minutes, it goes into screen saver mode, and the screen goes blank untill I hit the mouse. I thought it was just the monitor, but since then i got another monitor, and it happens with that one too.Anybody else get this?

if its plugged into the pc, its the power scheme setup..

its on the screensaver tab, underneath there should be a 'power' button.. click it and where it says 'turn off monitor' select 'never' and hit okay a few times

What is the first for charaters of your S/N? A401, A406 or A408? It a BIOS setting, the S/N tells me which motherboard you have. I'll can tell you how to disable the screen saver from there.

Write to me directly, rick@museresearch.com
