Main features:

• Sound ranges from ordinary clean EQ'ing to utter sound mangling distortion.
  Peaking/Low shelf/High shelf/Low pass/High pass band modes.
  Adjustable saturation amount, saturation applied on a per-band basis.
  Adjustable feedback amount.
  Two feedback modes.
  Editable text label on front panel (click on "bus 1").

Main features:

• Dual band with adjustable cross-over frequency and mix of the two bands.
  Adjustable look-ahead.
  Ratio from 1:1 to 1:inf.
  Attack and release times from 0.1ms to 10 seconds.
  Threshold from 0 to -50dB.
  Adjustable stereo linking.
  Adjustable Auto Gain, can compensate for sustain and/or peaks during attack phase.
  Adjustable amount of soft clipping applied, adjustable clipping curve.
  VCA (feed-forward) and Opto (feedback) style compression.
  Both up and down compression and expansion.
  Option to force the low band to mono.
  Adjustable Dry/Wet mix for "New York compression".

So, with the latest version of SynthMaker we added a new compressor module to the toolbox.

This is a beta release of that module, but with a customized GUI, and it looks like this:

Main features:
Stereo, two-band compressor.
Four different modes:
Upward compression
Downward compression
Upward expansion
Downward expansion
Soft Saturation on output
Tweakable cross-over frequency
High/Low band compressor output mix
Threshold/attack/release/ratio controls
Tweakable Look-ahead
I would appreciate if you could test it in your host and let me know if there's any issues.

The graphical bug on the meters is a known bug and we will fix it later on.

Any comments that can be useful to me (and the rest of the SynthMaker team, but primarily me since I'm responsible for the compressor ) are most welcome.

And, oh, I forgot. Do try automating the look-ahead

Just did that! It's awesomely weird. Also, setting look-ahead to maximum you get some really weird 'stuttering/gating' artefacts at heavy compression ratios.

New beta:


Changes:
Control over the amount of soft clipping. When being fully on, the output will be softly clipped to 0dB, when fully off, the "out" knob works purely as a volume control for the output.
Denormalization fixes. If you still get denormal issues, let me know!

Here is an example of cool stuttering!

That is a cool effect, perhaps not so punchy but different and nice sounding.

A friendly bump for Stefans plug.

This plug comes up when used in Adobe Audition but when attempting to preview it says an error is encountered processing the effect and it does not function in edit view.

Used in multi-track view it brings up the same error (no audio here either) and then it crashes the program.

Id like to see a wet/dry knob if thats possible.
