Hi peeps!

Does anyone know of a roland system100 100/m vst/dx plugin? I heard there is a creamware one but the price of that would be out of my range 8)

Thanks in advance!

No there isn't. Neither VST or Creamware.

but i sure wish there was :D
maybe some day.
When pigs fly, Roland will make one - or let someone else make one without some legal problems.
But.... dare to dream :D

In the meantime, check out aciddose's xhip. It's not a clone by any means in terms of raw capability, but tone-wise you should be able to get pretty close.

I don't know but Vaz Modular can recreate many Roland-sounds and it's modular so maybe that will help?

I think there is something similar. I can't remember the site. Its made up of a whole lot of vst building blocks(black). Like mmmmm VCO, gate, ocilator.......ect like any other modular. But it won't work properly in your standard VSTi slot. You need something like maybe console, Synthedit maybe? Oh, there is a AMS?-synthia? VSTi there too. EMS has a version too. The vsti sold by the actual maker's is very expensive? The site included a sought of virtual room museum of modular. And look around the room and close in on a bit of history.

Hi the Arturia Moog Modular is probably the nearest to the Roland 100M. From the old Roland gear I have here it looks more like that format than the ARP 2600...and the EMS is like nothing else. For vsts of the EMS there is a free one by Richard Brooks, a cheap one from EFM and there is a Reaktor ens..but then you need reaktor. I wouldn't touch the expensive one..and EMS is in the UK, not Germany, these people seem to be distributors though there hardware list is somewhat surprising seeing as EMS only make a few items from their product range these days.

it's easy to build Roland 700 and 100 systems in vaz modular- actually because of the huge variety of osc and filters as well as modules for every conceivable CV function and the ability to load VSTs- allows Vaz to faithfully duplicate the functionality/sound of just about any modular analog system- and get MUCH better results than any Arturia/Gmedia/etc emulation could ever hope to- if yoiur are willing to spend the time to build them

vaz is cool, and it was on the scene first! (well its an old name, for sure)

KarmaFX Modular would probably help to some extent.
It won't give you the exact Roland sound but the oscillators sound great , you have plenty of filter options , internal step sequence and multibreak point envelope pluse standard ADSR moudles with lots of routing options / ringmod / fm / sync / high frequency osillators ie :hfo's + a slew of lfo's effects devices , eq modules etc etc.

yep, Karma Modular is the one!
and if you like it alot, you could donate to the developer ;)
