looks like a software KORG Electribe EMX, something i've been wanting for ages!
(from the IL forums:) It's Maxx latest baby : a VST/FL/AU plugin featuring 8 drum & 5 synth channels with a fully featured & integrated sequencer. It's gonna rock ... if we ever finish it ... |

Groove Machine is a self-contained sequencer plugin (PC: VST/FL & MAC VST/AU) designed to create and perform 'live loop-style' grooves. Unlike traditional loops you have access to all parts of the groove as you would in any sequencer. Perform, modulate and interact with grooves live or incorporate then into your sequenced projects. |

Seems weird to me to want to run a Groove box as a VST but that may be because i have so many hardware groove boxs, this just has an air of "This should be for iPad, it would make a million" to it ? (For the record i think the iPad is weak, but it is definitely the fore runner of the next gen of Groove boxs) |

Yeah iPad was the first thing I thought of too. This was made for a regular computer so it probably sucks way too much CPU for the iPad. What would be cool is a MIDI or (even better) OSC control interface with a mock up of the GUI. Give it a bit of the old touch control.
You could always do something functional in TouchOSC though. |

This looks like a lot of fun.
There doesn't seem to be much in the "instant gratification in software" market so perhaps this will fill a niche. And hopefully stop me spending £450 on Electribe. |
