Bosley, my little grey'n'white adoptee is having a bad day so far He was on my bed earlier having seconds of brekkie when #1 cat, Bola, jumped up demanding a chin rub off me. I obliged tho' was soon tormenting him, but instead of pouncing on my hand as expected, he hissed at then gave poor Bosley a mighty paw swipe round his face instead Then just to make things worse, an hour later I finally got round to putting a collar on Bosley, along with ID barrel, but he wasn't happy at the bell ---- RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever. |

Cat Winning Gambling Shell Game:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7nHdJ AHlrYw --- last saturday, i was awakened by a stream of noises in the middle of the night. was getting worried and went downstairs... to find one of my cats toying with a mouse. the mouse was still alive, and escaped to the narrow space behind the sofa as i chased the cat away. couldn't find the mouse, went back to bed. after a while, wild pursuit sounds ensued, then a cat meowed plaintively a few times. when i woke up i was still alone in bed (which never happens on weekend days). turns out that one of my cats somehow closed the door to the living room, so neither could come upstairs to demand their nightly cuddles, and claim most of my bed. the mouse was much easier to catch in the morning, if you catch my drift --- (one of?) my cats has started using their litter boxes - and the area around 'em - again this morning, i caught the prime suspect peeing against the wooden wall in my toilet :sigh: |

Maple has a tinker bell, max doesn't. For some reason, the newer bells I have are WAY too loud and if it's annoying to me, it's gotta be worse for them. So Maple just has the old bell. |

that doesn't surprise me IMO cars kill a lot more birds (indirectly, by killing the insects they feed on - 500 billion each year in Holland), maybe they should be fitted with bells too |

A quick pic taken this morning of #1 cat, Bola, balanced precariously on top of a washing line post.
He'd leapt up there off the fence after a couple of birds in my cherry tree just before I was ready to set off shopping. I decided to stay a while in case he couldn't get back down and it's as well I did as I had to rescue him in the end, he was too scared to jump down and too heavy for any nearby branches to support him ---- RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever. |

Merle got neutered, tattooed and chipped today. Being the tough girl she is, she's been walking around fairly safely 2 1/2 hrs later. But man she is mighty pissed, growling and hissing even without anybody being near ![]() |
