I guess these could fit under "3D Graphics", but these are more fractal flame generators (although Chaoscope does 3D as well).

For web related stuff, I would add xaamp.
All you need for developing homepages safely: apache, php, mysql, perl... in one convenient easy to install package. |

One for video tools:
avidemux - http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/
This is the most functional video editing program I have ever used, easy single-track video editing and conversion without any of the crap you get with commercial products that only seem to do half a job. ----

DVDdecrypter is officially dead (somewhat at odds with the reality of the situation, but it isn't developed anymore..). But the disc creation part has been resurrected and improved upon as imgburn. |

TSW Webcoder, while pretty neat, is not free. PSPad, a general programmer tool, is an excellent free web editor as well, covering many useful file editing functions that are missing from dedicated editors.
...and xnview is a serious tool, possibly the best image management program free or not. Picasa is pretty good as well and works nicely with the awesome free picasa web albums if you have one of those. |
