The CM version looks very cool, it would probably make every one that tries it get Zebra2. I'm tempted but have far too many plugins, the demo's I've heard sound very good and really up there with the best! Well done Urs! |

... also CM usually gives you a code for an additional discount if you buy the full updated version. Either way, it looks very good!!! Hmm, everytime I think to myself about canceling CM subscription, they pull me back in with freebies. The Vista for music production article was good too. Oops, getting off-topic in here.

That's the best kind of advertisement for all of us: widespread free quality products. The challenge for a developper is to make the give away product having enough options and quality to impress. On the other side it should not be such a good and complete product that people won't find the need for upgrading to the full synth anymore. So, it is by far not close to Zebra2: "it's just another 2 osc subtractive synth...". 
However, to impress potential Zebra2 buyers: actually it's NOT just another 2 osc subtractive synth... ---- How can I get that mp3-player out of my brain?! |

By the way Urs, is Zebra 2.1 supposed to be able to load the Zebra CM presets? ---- Logic - Geist - U-He - NI Komplete 6 - Korg LAE 2007 |

Uhm,  , I'll add that in Zebra 2.2 or so... one can already load them, but the structure (2 osc noise vcf) has to be added manually...
Oh... and it's worth it... the wavetable selection in ZebraCM may sound aweful at first glance, but then, modulation is in a smaller range (+/- 2 or so), making up for good control on nice morphs... and of course Symmetry & Filter are fixed Osc FX... easy PWM here (if anyone remembers the recent problems)... So sure, this will help adding more patches to Zebra. And if you then consider that Z2 also has those natural type sounds (Comb filters) and stereo FM and something called XMF... |

Yeah yeah, no need to be embarassed.
I actually like ZCM more than Zebralette as a "simple" Zebra. Somehow I managed to make useful presets quite quickly for it at least. ---- Logic - Geist - U-He - NI Komplete 6 - Korg LAE 2007 |
