2500+ wavetables for DimensionPro/Rapture, and others. For only $30. Shit!

Info here (.mp3s, demo sound downloads, manuals) :

Galbanum's Architecture Waveforms were originally developed for Architecture
Volume One, a massive 8GB resource DVD for U&I Software's
Metasynth, and contained over 1,000 waveforms. These waveforms were
then translated for NI Absynth, and licensed in part by NI for use in Massive.
Galbanum continues to update and expand this collection and this edition is
effectively the third version of the library. The total number of Waveforms for
this version of the collection is now over 2,500. Despite the huge size of this
collection, managing and loading waveforms is extremely user-friendly. Subfolders
logically organize the contents into related categories, and Cakewalk
products make browsing these folders and changing waveforms a breeze.

Is this sort of raw .Wav material suitable for something like Abletons simpler? I've been looking to buy a new VSTi synth but if i would be able to get a lot of sound flexibility from Simpler + this sort of material then i'd happily give it a shot for only $30.

Any advice welcomed, i am curious but not very informed about wavetable synthesis Smile

that is an amazing price actually. It will be fun to see what comes of this as I think a lot of people will get it and work with it in many different synths.

In response to my own previous post, i downloaded the demo waveforms and i think this purchase is an absolute no-brainer. Just using a few waveforms and the simpler instrument in Live I managed to get a range of great sounds.

Straight off the bat with a basic short decay enveloped lowpass filter with some rez, and switching between various various demo waveforms, there was instant variety of great electro sounding synth and bass type sounds.

I'm totally sold on this concept, i'm gonna buy this and start experimenting with layered Simplers in Live using the rack device and macro controls. I can only begin to imagine what experienced sound designers will be able to come up with Very Happy

Thanks for the positive comments. I love to hear user stories if anyone wants to share. What hosts is everyone using these in?

There is a generic wav format version, for use in any sampler, and an Absynth version available too.

From what I can tell, this seem to be an expanded version of the generic wav format version. And they don't really seem to be wavetables, but single cycle waveforms. Shrug

Yeah, it's good stuff for sure, especially at such a ridiculously low price. I bought the wav and Absynth version last December.
