No apologies from me for bringing you too much good stuff Well, you can't go wrong with DataBank One for sure. I've had more amazing feedback from that set than from any other. And I'm probably most proud of my work there. Of course, hopefully I can outdo that with ReCombination I've been sent a couple more full track demos by testers and patch designers, I'll post up another one tomorrow. Any more comments on Buttermere? |

Sometimes I wonder if the time spent on a single patch is worth it... Case in point, tonight I worked well over an hour on a single patch. Here it is:
Outer Reaches by Jeremy Janzen One single Combinator, performed live just by tweaking the knobs/buttons. Whew! That was exhausting. |

I would like to discuss some of the technical details of the Refill I haven't mentioned yet.
ReCombination consists of ~2GB of 16/44khz samples. Here is where the samples come from: *The entire SoundCell products samples are included. Including all the formerly-known-as SoundCell Trilogy Bonus content, and even the Bonus content from SoundCell Free. This amounts to about 1.3GB - and around 135 different multisamples sets. *~700mb of all-new sounds. These come from a variety of sources: primarily wavetable synthesizers, and physical modelling. Also a large variety of hard-synced waveforms. For those who have purchased a SoundCell product in the past (whether its the old, discontinued SoundCell ONE, TWO, THREE, Trilogy, or the new SoundCell), there will be a significant discount. I'm not sure exactly what yet - I'll announce the exact discount price later. |
