No mild mannered ballads here.
Does what it says on the tin.
fear and loathing in little london
Apologies, no sinth.

i'll be listening , momentarily ...
just let me finish dipping the head of this paper match , into this bottle of pure adrenaline ...
sometime , later ...
this reminds me to blow the dust of my KvR Favs CD ...

Great song here!donkey tugger wrote:No mild mannered ballads here.

I really like the mood and the overall sound. The voice is great too.
If I were a filmmaker I'd to use this song as soundtrack, it's higly evocative.
Don't mind the missing synths ... it seems that you just don't need them to sound great.
As I'm not a native english speaker I cannot grasp the lyrics only listening to the song, can you kindly post them? (or give me a link to them?)
Thanks!

Nah, I do mumble and make lyrics up on the spot, so you're bound to be confused; thats t'indie rokk. Anyway, in no particular order;duke59 wrote:

"you control me
i'll follow you round
rays of hope console me
run me to the ground
days unspoken
i will be unsound
pray i;'ll leave here
showing you how
could be mistaken
living here
blaming everyone else
dragging me down
I could be forgivn
for dragging you down
Things unspoken"
I only sung the bits I liked, one take; then cut out the bits I f**ked up.

A pretty good work

This is a nice tune Tugger. As you know you sing fine but with this tune the vocals need to be more "into it". I hear this song as a punchy song so the vox should go with that sort of flow.
Ie: sing a little higher and louder.

Really like this one, DT. Your lush and yet grainy low voice always makes me want to sing an octave above you, but you can do that pretty bloody well yourself, when you get around to it

more guitars, its so cute.
I like the guitars, and the overall way everything is played, just the vocals sound out of place. Seems there was no heart behind them. I like the 'higher' singing, seemed more in place, and they are mixed a little low in the wall of sound. just as a instrumental maybe with more 'higher' singing might be more beneficial to convey feeling to the listener. my 2 pennies.

I've taken all your comments on board and in true Brian Clough stylee I've decided I was right all along.
(though I might turn up the vocals a bit...)

Nice one DT.
As usual, a class act....working class
I'm waiting for you to put a big anthemic chorus in one of your songs, so we can all put our lighters in the air and wave them about.
But then again...
