MidiXbar still need to be updated to v1.5.x
You could try out Midi Mixer, which already allows some of the MidiXbar features ... |

Nice! I lost mgui at version 1.37 or so, I guess, and find it made easy so even I don't make any mistake now... |

Or is it incompatible with v1.5.5 ? MidiXbar is now updated to v1.5.x |

Hi Asseca. I'm trying to use the Guitar Suite skins but am having problems getting them to work.
Do I need the original guitar suite dlls or are they included in the guitar suite exe. on your site? If I do what do I need to do with these? After I've run Mguiman do I need to keep this program installed on my computer? I tried following your instructions above and got - "A Serious Problem Has Occured" error. What am I doing wrong? Please could you assist with this problem. Thanks |

Do I need the original guitar suite dlls Yes, you need the original Guitar Suite DLLs The mGUI plugins will look for these in "VstPlugins-folder\FX\GuitarSuite\" dickiefunk wrote: I've run Mguiman do I need to keep this program installed on my computer?
It is strongly advised to keep the mGUIman.exe in its original folder ... (i.e. in "VstPlugins-folder\Asseca\asData\) |

Thanks for the reply Asseca. Why does the Guitar suite dlls. have to been in a folder labeled FX? I have my dlls of guitar suite in a folder called guitar plugins. Will this be a problem? |

The ini-files of the mGUI-wrappers then need to be changed, there are 2 ways of doing this: (assuming you have v1.5.9 installed)

Thanks again for the reply. Not sure if I understand what you mean? Could you try and explain this. Thanks |

Sorry about this. I've just tried that and it's still not working. I can't see DS1_GUI in Cubase. I tried loading the original Boss DS-1 and it's still GUI-less. |

Check if the DS1-GUI.dll is in the folder:
Program Files - Steinberg - VST Plugins - Asseca If not then run mGUIman and click on Update ALL DLLs |
