hi william, would u be as kind to help me with the following.......

1.- im having trouble with hosted vst fx, i cant get the controls to display the correct information. im using focusrite amp sim, and i want the 'type' control to display the relevent information i.e. 'british', 'american'...etc

i copied the code from sub synth .wini, and it now looks like this....

Type-Redraw
1
Type
ModeS: British - American - Combo - Bass.

am i doing something wrong? all it displays is numbers and not names.

****edit******>ok i figured out that this second line of code is for the tool tip... i guess saffire ampsim dosnt display the correct values******************

2.- is it possibal to change the name of a control, as sometimes the default name is to long for wusik to display? if not , would it be possibal to update this with a new line of code in the future?

3.- is it possibal to hide certain controls?, as there are only 13 slots for editing and the user often dosnt need all of the plugins controls. again...if not could u change this pls

4.- the same thing for ordering controls. what goes where... move slot 4 to slot 12..etc

5.- any chance of being able to import vst presets and opening gui in future update?

6.- please would it be possibal to see a mix control in future update... i know u can adjust the dry level in fx slot 1, but a master control would increase workflow

wusik fx would be a great alternative to kore for preset organising. i hope u will carry on to develop the vst hosting feature of wusik. i am using it 2 host all my preset-less plugins.

thanx william

Sure, no problem.

You can't change how the parameter displays. What you did was put a Tool-Tip for it. But you can't change how it reacts, sorry.

****edit******>ok i figured out that this second line of code is for the tool tip... i guess saffire ampsim dosnt display the correct values******************

Hehe, indeed. Wink

2.- is it possibal to change the name of a control, as sometimes the default name is to long for wusik to display? if not , would it be possibal to update this with a new line of code in the future?

Its not possible, sorry.

3.- is it possibal to hide certain controls?, as there are only 13 slots for editing and the user often dosnt need all of the plugins controls. again...if not could u change this pls

We would need to add this in a future update, but its not that simple.

4.- the same thing for ordering controls. what goes where... move slot 4 to slot 12..etc

Ohh, advanced feature for a future update. Wink

5.- any chance of being able to import vst presets and opening gui in future update?

Maybe for Wusikstation V5, as its a lot of work. Wink

6.- please would it be possibal to see a mix control in future update... i know u can adjust the dry level in fx slot 1, but a master control would increase workflow

Ahh, ok, got it.

wusik fx would be a great alternative to kore for preset organising. i hope u will carry on to develop the vst hosting feature of wusik. i am using it 2 host all my preset-less plugins.

Thanks, yes, we will keep updating it. Cool

Best Regards, WilliamK

I love to use wusikfx for vst's.
I just hope it will be without limitations in the future.
It makes an awesome fx host and it will be even better when it has no parameter limitations.

i totally agree.... wusik fx is a great preset manager for all vsts.. it can be more user friendly than kore, as in it can delete/move/rename presets.. it has a folder structure rather than them pissy atributes which make my work flow worse.... and it loads the presets very quickly (rather than switching on pre-listen)... kore sucks

there is a gap in the market for a tool like this.... i hope william realises this and gets this updated quick fast, before somebody else does (just like his oversampler, some 1 made a free alternative)

kore 2 is very expensive. and after being victimised by kore 1 ... i dont think ill update...

i will pre pay however much it costs to see wusik 5 over the new tools or more magazines.... i have downloaded the new tools and all the new sounds, but only because i get them free as a substitute, as i pre payed for the wusik companion... they dont interest me in the slightest

sorry william...im just hungry to see all of the users requests implemented into wusik
