I'm new to the soft synth world....I'm running Windows 7 x64 and Pro Tools 10 express. I bought and downloaded Scanned Synth Pro....The stand alone version works great but I'd like to use it as a plug in. Does anybody know how I can do this?

Welcome to Kvr!

Here is the official support forum for Scanned Synth:

As far as I know a RTAS version of Scanned Synth is planned for some time now. This is necessary to play a synth inside Pro Tools. Maybe the developer can provide you with a beta version of it.

Maybe you contacted Humanoid Sounds support about this? There is currently no RTAS version, I believe John is planning to add RTAS support for SSP 3 but not 100% sure.

In the mean time the only way to use SSP in Pro Tools will be via a sub-host such as NI Kore or Maschine. It may be possible using a Reaper instance (via Rewire? - not sure, I've never tried it).

... space is the place ...

I'm afraid that there are currently no plans to produce an RTAS version of Scanned Synth Pro 2. However I am currently hard at work creating Enzyme, which is the new name for Scanned Synth Pro 3, and that will have RTAS and AAX versions.
