Hi All,

We are holding a competition to find the best tunes that y'all can produce using Scanned Synth Mini. Links to all entries should be posted in this thread. They should be produced using only Scanned Synth Mini except for percussion and basic effects (e.g. EQ, reverb, overdrive) and obviously a host application.

The competition will be judged and the winner announced on the 1st of December and the prize will be a license for Scanned Synth Pro!

You can download Scanned Synth Mini from http://www.humanoidsounds.co.uk/products_mini.html

So come on and get composing. You've got a month!

Cheers,

John Proctor

ooh, I totally missed this - and I bet many others as well ( in fact I didn't even know that you now have your own company forum here @ KVR) - perhaps you should have bumped it a few times during the last month - what about extending the deadline for at least two weeks?

Only saw this myself yesterday, but I downloaded the Mini version last night and came up with this...

Track - Solar Flares
Artist - ScarKord

That randomise feature works a treat and you can get some cool textures from it.

Yes. I don't see a problem with having vocals.

Sorry about that. I have created a Scanned Synth Mini Bug Reports thread to discuss this and any other issues people are having. Could you give me any more details about your system spec and what you were doing (with Project5/Scanned Synth Wink) when it crashed and post them in that thread please?

Thanks,

John.

I have been really enjoying all the entries so far. I'm going to get together with some others tomorrow evening and judge the winner. It's going to be tough and I don't want to make the decision all by myself. Help

We are planning to hold another competition next month as I think there are quite a few more who would like to have entered this month.
