This one shows some heavy drum & bass influences, but I wouldn't call it that...
skin contact - clear 4:06, VBR mp3, 6.79MB I'm also looking for a remix (or remixes) of this track, here's the stuff you'll need: clear remix kit - includes audio tracks in 24 bit/44.1 kHz .wav format & midi file (.rar, 214MB) clear remix kit (mp3 version) - includes audio tracks in 320kbps mp3 format & midi file (.zip, 106MB) and since I'm here, I'm gonna pimp my new release (which this track appears on): [salesman mode]
you can get the downloadable version or pre-order the CDR version (which includes a copy of the d/l version free, available right away) at the SC online shop. [/salesman mode] Thanks to all who listen... |

Been listening to the CD in the car today. Great work. Large and expansive recording. I'll always have room for a remix of your track in the future....so I nabbed it for later. |

very cool stuff. I don't think I've listened to any of your stuff before, so I think I will dig around for some more to hear.
I'm only listening on my laptop but the production sounds crystal clear here - I'll confess that I did get a bit 'bored' in the middle section as it just seemed to repeat* but overall a very good track, nice one *something I am way too guilty of myself, so please bear that in mind |

hi there,
whether this is d&b or trance or something I have no idea. Cool trak anyway! This remix talk made me curious, hough: how do you guys usually set out doing a remix? Would that actually be getting original *audio* tracks and messing with them? And when does a remix become a cover? hehe G. |

Thanks guys!
And Geddulp: indeed, you have the right idea. The way I see it, a cover is a new version of an existing song done completely from scratch- whereas a remix is done usually using at least some element(s) of the original track. If you google "remix" you could read a detailed history of the concept, but I think that covers the basics. |
