Best solution: Kjaerhus Classic Compressor. Seriously.

You can test it yourself.
Use two waves: 20 Hz and 50 Hz, look at a spectrumanalyzer before you engage the liniter, then engage the limiter and look if there are extra peaks, ripples in the (upper) sideband. Be prepared to be shocked in case of a non transparant limiter.
Other test, same procedure: use 40 Hz and 185 Hz.

Which is the BuzComp?
I'll test them all, if you want to, but you have to specify which one you mean; there are plenty of Buz compressors in the KVR database, but not one of them is named BuzComp!

I can not stress this enough: MjCompressor is THE most transparent freeware compressor, probably one of the best compressors around no matter what the price.
Cheers!

I've had this question for a long time about the MjCompressor. What is this Hilbert thing doing?bmanic wrote:I can not stress this enough: MjCompressor is THE most transparent freeware compressor, probably one of the best compressors around no matter what the price.
Peace, my friends. I'm not seeking arguments here.
