I was actually looking at this synth way back in the 70's and even had the literature, and was considering getting this as my first synth. But I was not sure how the push buttons would hold up in time..so opted for an EML 500. Little did I know!

But..there is the VST version now..just downloaded it and will try it out, but thought I should post about it quick..unless..this is OLD news??

Edit: it's not in the quick list..so..perhaps new NEWS??

i think this VST is very old...
the "dll" and other files are from May/June in 2005...

for my taste it sounds not that good but i don't know the original...

Oh yes I found this VSTi days ago, but I'm unable to get a decent sound out of it. But I'm sure Tim can program a set of wonderful patches also for this.

I made about 100 Patches for this Synth! I will post the link.

I actually like the Ionic Performer more than the actual Synth it Emulates the EMS VCS. Here's 58 of them for now.

Thanks for this..The synths actually not bad. There is a cool gate-delay effect as part of the effects section on the right side of the keyboard. It s very stereo as well.

This gives me a feeling of nostalgia, as I used to look at the literature for this for hours when I was looking for my first synth!
