Hi,

I'm looking for the most simple and not CPU-Hungry Stereo to Mono VST plug-in.
I just want to put it on a Stereo Instrument channel , and make it mono.

What are you using? I think most hosts let you set a track to stereo, left, or right... or, alternately, you could just save the file or render the track as a mono .wav.

There's also Stereo Pan, which may do what you want:

mgMono looks simple, I will try it.

The thing is that I don't want to export the MIDI to WAV, as I still need to tweak the synth or instrument,
but want to hear it in mono, while synthesizing bass or something that I'm gonna put in the mix as a mono channel.

Have fun making a midi file mono .....

youre gonna have to tweak it first, then record it and THEN mono-ize it.

Huh?

I'm talking about putting the effect on the vst channel, not the MIDI.

Is there anything for this in Waves ?
To convert from stereo to mono . Just wanted to put this on the master bus so that i can work on the mix as mono .
