thanks!
with rough and raw in mind heres 2 more clips from that same party, TOflymetothemoon.mp3 this tune caught me by suprise, we werent using a setlist and i didnt hear the call so it was up and running before i even knew it. its wx5 with vl70m flute and wivi brass section and wind section, the brass section is 3 trumpets and 3 trombones and the winds are 3 flutes clarinet and 2 bass clarinets. im using the chorder midi plugin in nuendo to harmonize the wx5 input to send specific notes to the wivi sections, so i play one note of course and it maps that to the harmonies on all the instruments. being in a rush i forgot to turn on the reverb i use when theres no other horns onstage and its all wx which wouldve made it a little nicer but you get the idea what im up to with chorder. the other 2 horn players are back on this one: TOsmooth.mp3 im playing wx5 and wivi brass section, vl70 isnt on on this one, and theres 2 other horn players, it might be fun to guess what horns the other 2 players are playing. the top trumpet is pretty obviously wivi id say so ill give that one away. same deal again im using chorder to play all the harmony parts, making it sound like a 5 or 6 piece. the weird thing about this gigs recording is almost always im mixed at half this volume, im not sure maybe this sound tech was fascinated by computers, anyways it makes for good demos. when i mix i bring it back quite a bit so its more of a blend. --- In windcontroller@yahoogroups.com, PETER GILL <pvgill03@...> wrote: > > Have too agree with Eddie on this one, real laid back. > > I have been listening to Wivi on their site as I am considering taking this route.
