just passing time making a new look / theme for XT2 - saved and went off for something to eat - came back - loaded up XT2 but some elements hadnt loaded up their correct colours (ones i immediately noticed were the max / min / close buttons and the browser icons

i suspect this might be a variant of the linux colour bugette rearing its head again

(quick test)

yeah - it is - but instead of only appearing (as previously IIRC) when linux-made themes were loaded into windows versions (with them still appearing OK on linux machines) what now seems to be happening is the colours are built correctly but XT2 is reversing them on loading from RGB to BGR

anyone on windows do a quick test please - load this theme up and tell me what colour the min / max / close icons appear - will be either pale blue or pale peach ?

thanks

hmmmnnn

gets odder

if i load the theme that works correctly and resave it under a different name WITHOUT making any changes to it the new version loads with the reversed elements bugette - the original version will reload with the correct colours though so i have 2 .xtl files that as far as i know are identical copies but one works correctly and one doesnt

any linux users can check these ?

the second file there is a resaved version of the first one - on my system the first one loads correctly (min/max/close buttons should appear pale blue) but the second one exhibits the reversal bugette (min/max/close buttons appear peachy coloured)

i know in the grand scheme of things this aint big fish but its one of those little niggly things you know ?

just tried these in the windows version, and the first one has peachy buttons, while the second one has blue ones... so it's the opposite of how you see it in linux.

i'll test this some more in the next version, with its "various minor linux issues" having been fixed...
