The 303 and his brother the drumatrix came a long way; I used to have both and was happy when I sold them. Did you remember who's image was used to promote it ? ...BB. King ! When you mention Motown, I immediately think of Oddbods ! In the meanwhile I have been sharping all my pencils and I've bought a new dictionary with the latest insults/qualifications used by music critiques. MM and NME will look rather like a kiddos magazine from now on... Bribe money can be left on a secret place, behind a tree (nicer for the photo) though. I kinda like this character, 'the frustrated rock musician who has to write reviews' to get his piece of the apple pie. Making music is still limited to banging on my real double drum kit, using tiny sticks and mamouth skins, but playing far too loud for any known music on this planet. BamBamMax... .. . ---- Carpo diem ergo sum ! |

I like the Motown idea but maybe it's time to have another "write the pop single that will make you rich" month? If you happen to be Amy Winehouse, then you can blatantly rip-off the Motown sound note-for-note and use that as your entry (and be lauded as a genius because you apparently listened to some old records which also apparently no one else active today in the music business ever did). |
