Given the high incidence of canned-meat-punting ne'er do wells, would it make sense to have a dedicated thread here for people to post links to obvious spam threads in, so that the mods have a unified point of reference?

Seems it'd be more efficient than trying to work out which moderators are around to PM, and/or trying to second guess which ones will turn up next.

To laymen, software development is something akin to wizardry. Neither time, nor effort are involved. If software is missing features they want, or has bugs, it is solely because someone has been too lazy to wave their magic wand.

A very good idea!

Anyone who notices a spam post please post a link here and a mod will take a look ASAP.

I'll keep this thread clean by deleting replies periodically.

A reminder -- please don't post stuff here that isn't spam reports. [edit: Sock puppets, ban evaders, warez kiddies, and others who get the same treatment as spammers are okay to report here.] The idea is to alert mods so we can act quickly. False alarms put sand in the gears.

Thanks to all spam reporters for keeping KVR practically free of the canned pink goo that infests so many forums.

The spammers have been busy overnight. Returning warez kiddie sent back where he belongs. Others kicked out, except the Social EQ guy who appears to be legit... though still marginally spammy. Will keep an eye on that one.
