I just want to slide up between two notes a tone apart, have tried the slide control key and the glide but neither produce satisfactory results, any ideas anyone?

I have run into this problem myself. Unfortunately this is one of BB's problems I wish they would address this and provide an update.

I have a bass so I would actually record any slides that were very specific that BB could not produce. This is not a perfect solution by a long shot. There may also be other sound libraries or plug ins that do a better job slides. You may be able to use one of them to help out any weak areas of BB.
