Nice one synthgeek, I like this, even tho it's a genre I don't listen to much. I got a real image of pursuit through the last section. Not sure I can squeeze in a remix right now, but I'll see if I can make some time... for some reason I'm having trouble lately getting by on my traditional 4-5 hours a night of sleep... must be getting old! Smile

Laibach meets Front242 for a remix of 8kHz Mono.

Nice track, are you planning to use some voices on the thing altogether? It would be possible, the music can take that extra stream (but it is not necessary by any means). Will follow this track!

I really enjoyed this. Very 'Terminator,' which I can't get enough of.

i listened to it through 1 ipod headphone, and it sounded great, so I'll give it a shot on my monitors later ;]

Thanks a ton for the kind words guys!

@ Slug (37,2°): nope, no plans for vocals here (or in any of my work in the foreseeable future- I'm never satisfied with the lyrics I'm able to come up with). This is what I'm calling the final version right now, though it might get some minor tweaking before release if I decide it needs it when the rest of the album is written.

Making a rare appearance in the Music Cafe and checking some tracks out today, and this one stood out as being above average in it's genre. Overall, I would've liked better/smoother section changes, and maybe a double-speed section with the 40 foot wide acidustrial synth bassline. But that's just being picky and comparing it movie/tv soundtrack stuff I've heard before (in movies and/or tv that is). If you have a whole cd of this kind of thing, you might consider shopping it around to tv/film/ad people, it's basically that good right now. Smile

Thanks Jeff! I have been doing some looking into such things, starting with some sites like YouLicense. I'm not really sure where else to start. Appreciate the vote of confidence!

My Winamp would not play it, is this something that requires a new codec?

No, winamp should play it. It was encoded with LAME (VBR, quality setting 9).
