Open Guitar is a VSTi designed for accurate emulation of the beautiful sound of arpeggiated guitar chords in the first position of the fretboard (hence the "open" strings sound).

Open Guitar sound synthesis is created using single note samples and DSP filters. So it's not a loop player, it's a true instrument which can play any sequence you want. MIDI files are included as example of accurate guitar sequencing. The "hammer on" and "pull off" techniques are possible.

Guitar models included: Steel, Strat, Twelve Strings, Sitar Guitar, Nylon Flamenco.

Also included: 20 MIDI files especially designed for Open Guitar VSTi.

A Demo version with some limitations is freely downloadable from http://smplugins.com

- Check also the Audio Demos on the page -

The price of the full version is 39 USD

Limitations of the Demo Version are:

1) Only the first 4 strings can be played (E B G D)

2) Only 12 MIDI files are included (Currently there are 20+ MIDI files in
the full version, but more will be added at no charge to customers)

no noises, no time limits

Hi liqih,
great news. Smile
I will buy it soon.

A question: I am still waiting for an update of harptime pro.
Do you have a release date for it?

Hi liqih,
some months ago you send me a beta version of a new harptime pro with some new features.
Did you now name it harptime max?
When will harptime max be released?
