Hey guys, been learning some new tips and tricks in the studio and finally put out another song - a mellow prog/trance tune. Mostly features patches and synths from the Virus TI, Zeta, and Alchemy for a few pads, but theres a lot of Camelspace (so much love) used on the percussive breaks, and to modulate and sequence FX and keep the tune rolling on.

Massive drone piece, with 2 instances of Alchemy running pretty much from the start to the end, and processed through some plugin effects as well.
Enjoy! http://soundcloud.com/red-fog/199-broken-light-tubes ---- __________________________________________________ http://soundcloud.com/red-fog http://soundcloud.com/sleeping-on-lotus-ashes http://landofthedrones.blogspot.ca/ __________________________________________________ |

I made a track for my niece who has breast cancer. Ofcourse I used Alchemy in it. The guitar is the Guitar+pad preset from the factory lib (section Guitars). The bass is the Happy Handbag bass from Electronic Bass lib The lead synth in the middle is Hope Modular from Luftrum Ambient layerd with Vangelis Lead from Factory Leads. The pad sound is from my own lib Alchemy Elevations. It's the pad Dominus. Percussion is made with NI stuff (Battery and True Strike Tension). The piano is Kontakt 4. You can buy this track for 1 euro. All the money goes to The Pink Ribbon Foundation in The Netherlands. Click on "Buy this track" on my SoundCloud. http://soundcloud.com/yuroun/the-pink-ribbon |

I'm really sorry to hear about your niece, that's tragic. The music is a fitting and beautiful piece, I hope it provides her with the courage and will to make it through this ordeal Peace, Andy. |

New long song (11+ min) which features tons of Alchemy.
http://soundcloud.com/codestation/dreamitation Also Omnisphere and some RMX drums, but it's 80% Alchemy. Some are factory patches, some are noises made myself. One is a propane forklift engine revving with belt-squeal, but thanks to Alchemy it's mangled into something entirely different. Alchemy fricking rocks. |

I've already got this in the music cafe but I wanted to put it in here too as Alchemy is really providing the 'money shots' in this track. It's the main, big string and the gorgeous flute.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKd4AGFs2bM&sns=em Woo-hoo! That's truly atmospheric in the grandest of gothic traditions lavoll I'm glad you're obviously getting so much out of Steamworx, and I love what you've done with my sounds, while the drums and Kathleen's voice really lift the end result to new heights. Excellent work! Martin |
