Oh , just found the time to made this piece of music ready to hear,
it's musically partly Techno (not my usual cup) and I like it now and of course especially the vocals (by Mona). And what do you think, ...friends (or foes) and Techno-Haters? Smile

I heard a comment from one of Nashville's leading song coaches and she said her One Rule to be a good singer is to concentrate on the consonants and not the vowels. I think your girl has broken this rule.

I wouldn't call this Techno (in the Doof sense) at all.

Hope this helps - sorry but I couldn't get into it at all - or at least call this a Bump

Smile

this is genuine Thomekk ttt mixed pickles with sudden stops and a lot of vox biggies from Mona: greatly confusing and loveable!

I have to agree with Benedict on this one. It was almost impossible to get into past the first part - starts to go in too many different directions. I think there's some potential there, but it needs to be reworked. Also, I can't understand 90% of the lyrics, annunciation is KEY (unless the vocals don't matter and are an afterthought compared to the music, but in this case the vocals carry the song.)

Anyway, just my two cents!

i think, it is Thomekk's strenght to get things together that normally don't work together. He does it quite well, imo. Many people have problems with this kind of approach (listeners' customs).

sunday bump

Hi Benedict,
and thx for your comment!
I think I get what you mean concerning the vowels,
but - what rules? HiHi
To be honest not the whole of the lyrics are quite good understandable
(which is not so important for me personally, but which will be tried maybe better next time)
And Techno? No, it's not Techno as sort of of genre, it just uses parts of this genre. Cool

Thx maalsa,
for your 2 cents!
Ok, personally the understandability of the lyrics did not matter me so much
(as it's going for some other vocal performances of good singers I like too),maybe it's harder for some native english speakers (though I thought that they did not give too much on lyrics too, as most of all lyrics worldwide are done english no matter how clever or stupid they may be - so they have a acoustically callus)
Concerning the many directions it's really what I liked here, cos it was not the aim to do a techno-song with all the parameters and rules which may have been conformed Rolling Eyes
To me the vocals carry the song but necessarily the lyrics,
for me almost ever the melody is king Cool
But, I did get your points ...
