[edit, April 24th]

The Out There set is now available. It has 470 samples for a size of 32.6 MB. It's a collection of varied and unique samples that provide a good complement to any SFX library. Currently available for Kontakt 3 with the wave files and as a set of soundfonts.

It costs only $4.99 us, for more information and orders, visit this page:
http://lesproductionszvon.com/Out_There.htm

Download the demo that includes the "Mystery" soundfont mentionned below from this page:
http://lesproductionszvon.com/freesounds.htm

Original post below
__________________________________________________ ______________
This new set will have roughly 500 one-shot samples, a mix of percussions and SFX, some with velocity layers. The origin of the samples is mostly electronic but there's also some acoustic sounds, mainly the Jaw Harp.

This set will be inexpensive, something like either free with the purchase of one of my other sample sets or a few dollars on its own.

Here's a preview soundfont of 24 samples mapped from C1 to B2, the 12 first are a Snoopy Jaw Harp played by yours truly and the 12 others are "mysterious".

Here are 2 MP3 examples made with the "Mystery" sf2:
- pattern repeated 4 times:
Mystery pattern

- another pattern, Jaw Harp only:
Mystery random

And a third beat made with some of the electronic sounds included in the "Out There" set:
Electronic Percussions

I am hoping to release the set for this weekend.

Thank you

Cool.

Those analog jaw harps just can't be topped. Very Happy

I guess I'll be buying some sounds this weekend!

Hi Mike,

Not only is it analogue, but it's also vintage as I bought it in 1971 or 1972. And it still has all the original parts HiHi

It's nice to see someone else remembers Snoopy and his jaw harp. Which special was that from? I remember him playing it on a school bus.

I'll have to try that .zip file. It sounds like a lot of fun to play with. Thanks! Smile

It was in "A Boy Named Charlie Brown". To be honest, I did not remember that but I found it yesterday on the web.

It sure is, I hope that you will enjoy it.

The full set should be released tomorrow. Today I finalized the samples, Kontakt 3 keymaps and most of the documentation. The set has 470 samples (32.6 MB) including 52 Jaw Harp samples.

Thanks ZVON. Hard to pass up at €3.87 EUR. Very Happy

EDIT: A very eclectic mix. Sounds interesting with a MIDI drum file driving the nki files. Favourite moments are the bell sounds!

A new MP3 with a very different vibe, darker ambient style, with the Spacebirds, Machines and some Vocoder.

New MP3 demo, single pattern made with the Vocoder part1, FX Into Space, FX others and Electronic Percussions kits from the Out There set. The bass part is the Prepared Rhodes Honky Funk preset. Pattern plays twice.
