Hi all,

Here's my latest piece of synth music. It's MUCH darker than my usual, as implied by the name.

For the curious, it's played on three instances of Scanned Synth, four instances of Sylenth 1 (who says it can only do trance?) and one of Odo's Double Six. Drums are Jamstix and it was recorded in Reaper 3.

Feedback is welcome as usual.

This comes over to me more as strange rather than dark. It doesn't have the depressive heaviness I was expecting. In fact it's positively lively :?
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

Maybe "dark" is one of those terms like "warm" which means something different to different people.

I hope that by strange you mean "original" . . .

No one's got anything to say about this piece?

"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"
