Hi, thanks for Scanned Synth. I'm having an issue with loading banks on OSX -- they load fine, but there's no interface for stepping through the various patches. Neither in Logic Pro nor in Live do I have any means of reaching anything but the first preset. Any suggestions?
Thanks Jeremy |

For me, the names of the presets don't change when loading another bank ! ---- MacPro & G5 2 X 2,3 GHz, D.P. 7.24 & Kontakt5, MX4 MOTU & Trash _ Gibson ES 295 & Explorer _ FilterBank2 Sherman & PolyEvolver Clavier CamelSpace & CamelPhatt _ Alchemy and Explorer Loïc Le Pape http://www.loiclepapesteelguitars.com/spip.php?article24 |

Hi Jeremy,
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you, I have not been well. You should find that you are able to change between presets in both Logic and Live. I am currently adding preset handling to the plugin which will solve the current awkwardness of the using the host as well as allowing you to rename presets, which some hosts do not seem to support. This will appear in the next update which is nearly ready. John. |

I hope this update will solve my problem too! ---- MacPro & G5 2 X 2,3 GHz, D.P. 7.24 & Kontakt5, MX4 MOTU & Trash _ Gibson ES 295 & Explorer _ FilterBank2 Sherman & PolyEvolver Clavier CamelSpace & CamelPhatt _ Alchemy and Explorer Loïc Le Pape http://www.loiclepapesteelguitars.com/spip.php?article24 |

Thanks for getting back, and sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. I can switch between factory presets in both Live and Logic, but not presets from a loaded bank. This is in the AU. In the VST, I can switch between presets in a loaded bank using Live's preset interface. If you know how to get that working in the AU, I'm all ears -- maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Anway, looking forward to the update! Jeremy John [Humanoid Sound Sys] wrote: Hi Jeremy,

Just to let you know... Scanned Synth Pro 2.0.10 now has the options to browse through presets built into the plugin itself. |

Hi _
After installation in the Component folder on a Mac the version is still 2.0.8. and not 2.0.10. looking for information ! ---- MacPro & G5 2 X 2,3 GHz, D.P. 7.24 & Kontakt5, MX4 MOTU & Trash _ Gibson ES 295 & Explorer _ FilterBank2 Sherman & PolyEvolver Clavier CamelSpace & CamelPhatt _ Alchemy and Explorer Loïc Le Pape http://www.loiclepapesteelguitars.com/spip.php?article24 |

I have removed the old file 2.0.8 version Component and the installer of the new version delivers a plug-in version 2.0.8. and not in 2.0.10. _ Bizarre ! ---- MacPro & G5 2 X 2,3 GHz, D.P. 7.24 & Kontakt5, MX4 MOTU & Trash _ Gibson ES 295 & Explorer _ FilterBank2 Sherman & PolyEvolver Clavier CamelSpace & CamelPhatt _ Alchemy and Explorer Loïc Le Pape http://www.loiclepapesteelguitars.com/spip.php?article24 |

Thats really strange. How do you know that it is 2.0.8? Does it not have the preset menu in the top-left corner of the GUI? I really need to add the version number to the About page. Maybe this is an installer issue. As far as I am aware nobody else is having this problem. I can send you the component itself if all else fails. |

And by clicking on the file ScannedSynth.component (Apple I for Information) this indicates that it is 2.0.8. version ! I just look out of curiosity in the VST folder and version shown is 2.0.7. for ScannedSynth VST _ ---- MacPro & G5 2 X 2,3 GHz, D.P. 7.24 & Kontakt5, MX4 MOTU & Trash _ Gibson ES 295 & Explorer _ FilterBank2 Sherman & PolyEvolver Clavier CamelSpace & CamelPhatt _ Alchemy and Explorer Loïc Le Pape http://www.loiclepapesteelguitars.com/spip.php?article24 |

I'll look at that for the next update. |
