And Livemachine LE:

What can you do with it?

A lot! You start by choosing some audioloops to work with, programming a drum-phrase using a sampler or sing into the microphone.
Then you press the record button to record your "performance" - when you have recording something its time to apply some FX - of course in realtime.
Then you add another loop - sample it - FX' it - there you go!

What's the cool thing about it?
That you can record WITH realtime FX! Sample a vocal-hihat-pattern? Just use the gate-effect WHILE recording your voice. Sample a bassdrum? Just use the voicesynth together with distortion. Sampling a kind of electronic melody? Use your voice together with the MIDI playable polyphonic CombFilter to create cool rhytmic melodies.

Now i have some loops running. What now?
Be creative! Add further FX to them, create remixes, do overdubs - do whatever you prefer - you can always apply FX to every inpuuts and outputs and even while recording/"mixdowning" !!

Another cool thing is, that you can save a whole performance-setup in one FXP-file! (but : this doesn't included recorded audio)

Total effects mayhem!

delay (synced), delay pitching, metaldelay, reverb, reverbstop, reverbpitching,
voice-synthesizer (monophonic), HQ vocoder w. noise-osc, variable frequency distortion,
scratching fx (up/down), 12-part WAV-drumsampler, audiolooper with pitching, trancegate/tremolo, pitchshifter, granular "stutter",
lofi/degrader, chorus with variable detune, multiband phaser with shifting, random bandpass filter, phrase-repeater
,playabale polyphonic delay on midi channel two, 4-loop beatslicer, reverse playback for recorder channels....

2 stereo outputs (1 main out / 1 cue out with metronome for performer's headphones if needed).
vu/peak metres for every in- and output channel + MIDI CC output for mapping to external controllers.
photorealistic GUI.
realtime click/pop-free effects operation.
MIDI learn for every button/knob/slider.
around 200+ roaylty-free WAV loops, drumsounds and vocoder-carriers included to get you started.
custom coded C++ SE modules!

I suggest a decent MIDI hardware controller, a at least 49 key ( better 61) keyboard and a fast machine for maxmimum pleasure! You also should use this tool on a merely clean computer due to tasks that might run in the background and interrupt the audio. (For real live use on the stage).

Thanks!
-Dennis

thanks!!

the GUI isn't ready yet, has to be done first!

but instead here's a very quick audio demo, showcasing some live played fx and two loops, one using my voice + 1/16 gating and reverb... of course everything done live :D

Yes, with around 200 mainly electronic drum and percussion sounds :)

Thanks, and yes, Tim Exile's selfmade Reaktor-Ensemble inspired me to do something similar for the masses as i think it has potential and a HUGE <- !!! fun factor ;)
