I just uploaded a presetbank of 192 presets at the "Banks & Patches" section of KVR for Stormgate 1. Stormgate 1 is an amplitude rhythmic gating effect; amongst others you can create trancegates with it. The presetbank is in the .fxb format and is called "Gatez bank". In the presetbank you'll find 12 patches with each 16 patterns (A-P)

Thank you for sharing peterdh. Unfortunately I deleted this annoying plugin because it only starts playback on the second beat. You would would think that would be fixed by now. I'll continue to use CamelSpace. Thanks anyway.

Thanks for your info Orbit-50. I had the similar problem. First selecting another pattern and then selecting the pattern you want on the first beat, solved my problem. I also have to record the pattern switch via automation in Cubase, otherwise the pattern "number" (letter) is not recalled when saving my song/project.

Your bank is great peterdh. What I liked the most is that you highlighted the fact that Stormgate is an excellent tool for doing creative "curve" type gating, as opposed to just the "switch on switch off" type gating. Hopefully the pattern start problem will be fixed in the future.

you can always send a MIDI note (range C1 - D#2) to trigger/force the synchronization of the pattern.
The synchronization needs to be tied to the song metrics, which is a minor change I'm working on right now.

Not fair comparing an €77 plug-in versus a free one , and they are different beasts anyway.
Not to hide that there is a problem in SG1 and I'm going to fix it.

Please don't take me wrong Aldo, I was just frustrated because of the "sync" problem. Stormgate is actually more flexible than most gaters because of the curve gating and freehand stuff you can do with it. In no way did I intend to slag your hard work on Stormgate. I'm sorry if you took it that way. Please forgive me for that.




That's all Stormgate needs and it will be perfect.
