I sent a query to tonebldr AT gmail DOT com, and who knows if that did the trick or if Nathaniel just got his mailing list together, but I got an upgrade offer and took him up on the deal right away. All is well.

Actually, I'm an idiot. I sent my query to nathaniel AT drivenmachinedrums COM, but his reply came from tonebldr AT gmail DOT com. I don't know if this matters in the least, I just wanted to share. Trahast ---- Sigs are for siggies |

Just bought this yesterday and after a quick listen through the sounds I do like what I hear. Threw a few quick drum pattern together with the samples and things do fit quite nicely and I found I didn't have to spend ages looking through trying to find suitable samples, A lot of things just fit together.
I must say I was a bit skeptical at first impressions of the website but after coming across a few good reviews I decided to take the plunge and buy, and I'm glad I did. |

Hm. Haven't heard from Nate in a week. Both emailed and PM'd here without any answer... Not good but there's probably some explanation somewhere... Oh well. |

I'm fairly certain everyone is sorted now with emails on the expansion.
I had an unexpected surgery that knocked me out and set me back a couple of months. But things are gearing up again, back in full swing! Tom Shear of Waveformless has written a review of the new DMD 1.5 content: http://waveformless.blogspot.com/2010/12/review-driven-machi ne-drums-15-update.html DMD 1.5 gear list: Euro Modular (Cwejman, Wiard, MOTM, MakeNoise+) Serge Modular Acidlabs Miami Roland TR-909 Jomox MBrane 11 Drumfire DF500 Simmons SDS-1000 MFB-503 Elektron Monomachine Avedis E-27 TK-BC1 Valley People Dynamite Schippman Ebbe und Flut + all the tubes, pres, comps. and tape stuff from the first DMD collection. And of course, the demo sounds are available at http://www.drivenmachinedrums.com So, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and have a rocking NYE. |

Great you're back. Any chance of making them Geist-ified? For a small fee? |

I'd like to thank everyone for their support for this collection.
After all this time + some expansions, Driven Machine Drums will be sold out. There are 10 copies left, then as promised, no more sold. It's been a fascinating journey and I'm so grateful for all the kind comments people have sent in. Being apart of your musical journey is an honor. When this whole thing launched, I had no idea how many copies a sample collection typically sold. I guess 997 was a pretty big expectation. Some even said "Good Luck!". to this I reply, Thank You. That extra luck came in handy : ) |
