Good for her to be there, that is for sure.

We have a few private schools up here that are quite good as well... a lot better than some of the public schools have been. Mind, not all public schools are bad..it is just that there is a tendency to have a fair amount of mediocracy around.....

I actually did not finish high school myself...I was not a very good student at all in my younger years.

What I did do though was after I spent 15 years working in the textile industry and getting stoned, getting into, and out of bands and such I went to University as a Mature (Aherm) Student...Full time no less...stupid stupid stupid... Nutter D'oh! Smack . I did manage to get my BA however then got into Healthcare via looking after my wife who was going through a major illness..that got me into doing PSW (Personal Support Worker)...I am so glad I found my niche... Thumbs Up!

it's not a private school though, it's a charter school and one of the biggest differences the teachers are NOT in a union.

BTW, I should have done better in high school but often didn't do my homework so I would had to go to a prep school for a year because I ddin't get accepted at my choice of schools (Maine Maritime Academy). I joined the army instead, they put me and a few others through a bunch of tests (3 days worth) and at the end those few of us left got offered 1 year OCS (officer candidate school) and then 4 years at West Point. The fly in the ointment was I would have had to sign up for 10 years and I foolishly decided not to go to West Point Confused

. o O ( I wonder what the spammers think when they get banned before they even have a chance to post. Nice of them to use such easily-googled nicks, and to leave trails of empty blue Hormel cans. )

eggs in a box might have seemed like a good idea at the time, but the forests are still growing, and the little spirits have their campfires
