hey shannon, i thought i'd make this an open letter so others could benefit from it as well.
i am about to make a really badass poise/mpc video using some cool split screen stuff to show me on the MPC and poise on the screen simultaneously. this video will demonstrate some of Poise's simple aspects as far as a layering tool for the MPC. i'll discuss how there's no polyphony limit, i'll show the ease of loading/tweaking samples, and i'll have them all routed separately so i can apply different fx to the resulting drum pattern. this is all part of my recent blogwork/nym publicity campaign. i want very much to include the products/developers whose work i enjoy. should this video take off (as some of my MPC videos have) i would like very much to get some adsense revenue from its popularity. when signing up for adsense on a youtube video, they ask if the video shows any video game or software as a protective measure against copyright infringement. do i have your permission to A, make this video and B, collect adsense revenue from it? i think i know the answer already but i'm wanting to leave a paper trail in case someone asks questions. plus, i don't want to step on your toes. thanks for your time. nym ---- electronic instrumentalism, MIDI instrument design, and words. |

Sure Nym, that's fine (for both A&B).
BTW I've enjoyed your recent blog posts. - Shannon |

thank you! i haven't started promoting it yet but it's been something fun to write. i've decided that it's in my best interest to become more public of a person, musically, technologically and in general day to day life. ---- electronic instrumentalism, MIDI instrument design, and words. |
