Not wishing to spit in anyone's champagne, but it's just lots more bank space and no installer anymore, right?

No updates to the sound, feature set or gui is better than nothing, sure, but not really much of an update tbf

The GUI lies in the eye of the beholder, but why change the sound? It's what made this thing popular after all.

It's good to see this thing at least getting updated once in a while. Maybe it'll be rendered in VST Standard higher v2.3 someday, but it works just as fine.

Yes I saw that just now... well let's hope that Mr. Ichiro Toda just started an update series. I realy hope there will be a sound update! .. like cleaner oscilators and filters... and no odd PWM and FM artifacts.

There are no doubt dozens of reasons why synth1 became such a legend, but for me, not so much it's sound.

This is so cool. Synth 1 is such a great story. Mysterious developer seems to have disappeared and then suddenly out of nowhere an update with one of the most requested features added. So apparently Ichiro has been listening. Daichi if you are here please tell us about yourself. How have you been?

I've been a huge fan of Synth 1 since day one. Great to see it still in development!
