Great explorations. Really my cup of coffee here. Your sound design blows my mind, Rick. Do I hear a reverb in there? Just fantastic levels and layers in this. Nice work. |

thanks, jazzy! :-) (where have you been?) yes, there's reverb here 'n there. it's built into the reaktor ensemble i used to make the percussion layers, Topinambur, by dieter zobel. ;-) |

You're not known for your use or love of reverb, so I took a cheap shot. |

I enjoyed this very much. Thanks.
I'm behind on commenting on things, and since I'd only say "I enjoyed it, thanks" or thereabouts I'll say here instead of in each piece's thread that I've been enjoying all the stuff you've been posting (probably "night" most of all). So thanks for all of those too. |

;-) i have nothing against reverb ... in a cathedral or the grand canyon. ;-) Quote: I nabbed that ens, but haven't had a chance to explore it yet.
it's one of my favorite zobel ensembles, really unique in its treatment of a percussion sample map. Quote: I have been trying to compile an album using my best tracks of the last few years and doing some production/writing for several projects. I'm even a ghost writer for an up and coming female-fronted alt rock/metal band here in Seattle. I promise I'm keeping it arty though. :)
album: cool. :-) ghost writing: as long as you don't go emo on us. ;-) |
