Intel Core2 Quad CPU + 4 GIG RAM

Woohoo!!!

:wheee:
This isn't what you think.

nvm

The beta plugin has just the Random Hall/Random Hall HD for now (more will be added soon), but this is more than enough to know that it's absolutely fantastic. It's different than the PCM Native Random Hall (which is also very good), it has an additional lush/dreamy/radiant factor.

The other Hall algorithm will sound even more lush. The Random Hall is far from dreamy compared to the other Hall.

Yep, I'm in the same boat. Dongled plugins I want:

1. Softube FET Compressor
2. Softube Tubetech CL-1B
3. Abbey Road RS124
4. LX480
5. Synthogy Ivory Upright

I really don't know if I'll ever take the plunge though...

Atleast those 2 can be cloned really well with Stillwell's Rocket.

Not FET.

I think you have it backwards. The FET Compressor is modelling an 1176, and The Rocket is Stillwell's take on the same thing.

FET comp's behavior when turning knobs can't be cloned by Rocket but the actual sound can be pretty well (maybe with saturation plugin also). But don't try this at home, leave that to pros. :hihi:
