v1.70 released!!
FREE Download: http://www.prodyon-virtual-gear.com/downloads/Phenome_v1.70_ DLL.rar I just fixed / updated version 1.70 of Phenome again. I've added a little Setup button (to the right above the browser). Currently you can choose (enter) your PhenomeData location in there. So that you don't have to fiddle with searching the config.txt file and stuff
So, if you've installed libraries to e.g. D:\Sounds\New\PhenomeData\ simply type in: D:\Sounds\New\PhenomeData And click the Disk Symbol to the right. This change will then be stored permanently. Also a Multi button has been added (for loading and saving Multisetups). (They're saved as standard FXP files). Oh, and there's the new "performance mode".
Clicking there turns it on. With notes C to G (Note Numbers 24 to 32) you can "switch" between layers, or choose which layer to play via keyboard. Great for live-performance, moving sounds and other crazy stuff! (In the future there might come a Guitar-Simulation that features switches for legato, sustain, fretnoise and stuff like that NOTE: Performance Mode-setting will only be save in Multisetups (FXP's). "Factory B Library" has been released also! Check out the amazing Audio Demo here: http://www.prodyon-virtual-gear.com/media/factoryB_longdemo. mp3 List of included Presets: http://www.prodyon-virtual-gear.com/downloads/factoryB_prese ts.pdf Thanks! --- Hi folks, i want to thank everyone for their support! ...so this is my way to say Thank You! http://www.kvraudio.com/get/4644.html

Fixes/Changes in v1.64: overworked installer. fixed a bug in the amp section. added float value readout for knobs. added velocity playback mode switch. added a config file. polished/overworked the GUI. fixed a bug in the automation. fixed a doubled parameter. browser now remembers last folder. unloading soundfonts implemented. fixed hanging disk icon. factory library can now be installed anywhere. improved amp and filter envelopes. integrated browser for soundfonts and presets. fastest soundfont-browsing on the planet! chorus/widener, bitcrusher, delay and vibrato per layer. overworked filter drive. added signal degrader. added fixed pitch option. added more modwheel options. added velocity split. added mono-gliding. overworked arpeggiator. overworked pitchbend options. added textfields for program/multi name and author. added patch/bank (FXP/FXB) buttons. changed buttons to popup menus. added filter drive/distort. added note-off trigger mode. added preset browser (*.phe). added lock layer feature. added various tooltips (hints) ______________________________________________ v1.6 Release Notes: MIDI Learn: If you experience wobbling or strange behaviour with an automated control while playback, make sure your keyboard doesn't send aftertouch while doing MIDI-learn! With some soundfonts you won't hear nothing at all after loading them. Make sure to select the right Instrument in the Patch/Instrument slot. Phenome assumes Soundfont Instruments to start at Bank / Patch "0" (Zero) ! New Preset loading/saving: You can save phenome layer-presets everywhere on your harddisc(s). The full path to used sf2 files is stored within each preset. *.phe-presets are simple text-files so you can edit them afterwards (e.g. changing a soundfont). Oh, and avoid saving patches in the "phenome" vst folder itself! From there my file-exists-routine won't work. Also to be fixed in next release. Hi. thanks!!
What kind of soundfont player is this? Is a basic one or it supports some some advanced things like layers, and disk streaming? |

Hi,
sorry but doesn't work here. Reaper crashes on scanning the plugin and minihost doesn't load it neither. Both give following error message: Executable 'c:\test\Reaper 3.68\reaper.exe' had thet following unrecoverable error: Missing Ordinal c:\test\Reaper 3.68\Plugins\FX\VST\Phenome\Phenome.dll->KERNEL32.dll:1 BTW: It is on Win XP SP1 (32bit). On Win XP SP2 (32bit) it loads OK. Also, it's a shame it doesn't fulfil the announced "Total Recall" feature akademie |

Would be cool if it were 16-part (so you can load MIDI files in it), and if it had 16 stereo outputs (for detailed external effect processing per part). Also polyphony up to 128 per part. Possible to do in an update in due time? |

sonicfire, you've been blessed with a great mind which could bring forth lots of interesting creations! Thank you very much for your freeware! In another world (or another epoch), you'd be a very successful businessman. I'd really like to buy Randomax from you, but Plugindex only offers PayPal as payment method, and I can't proceed in that matter. Just to let you know that I would like to support you financially somehow. Thanks again! |
