is there a midi plugin that remaps incoming midi notes so I can play the 12 stepts of white keys only ?
this would need 12 white keys to play a single chromatic octave. |

interesting idea. to do it in a single plugin you could use S-Note-Matrix from http://s-production.de/ |

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to do this? Some specific need? |

yes there is this http://homepage.hispeed.ch/mbncp/download/trackarp01.zip guide by mbncp " Create a MIDI part with the chord where the notes are 1 measure long (or more), set the channel to 16 and send this to the plug. Set VoiceIn to Pitch, PatterIn to played VoiceOut to FIXED (though I think it doesn't matter) and PatternOut to FIXED. Now set your keyboard to channel 2 (or whatever) and play from C3 (MIDI = 60) and up. C3 will be the lowest note, C#3 the next one and so on. Which I admit is not very convenient but a key re-mapper plug should let you define exactly which key you want to use (example C D E F, for root second, third, fourth of chord)" the pattern must be played on chromatic scale but if I find a plugin to remap keys I will play the pattern on white keys so for lowest not of chord I play C in high octave pattern input for second note higher note in chord I plat D without key remapp I have to play the pattern o black keys two |

that one looks very complex .do you know why it allows parallel strings in the matrix shouldn't it have one target value per input value ? edit:I got it .that allows chords I works well now |
