Urs, how would an i5 M480 CPU cope with Diva? I have it in my laptop... Along with 8 GB of DDR3, but I suppose RAM is of less concern!
Howie is happy with his i7, so I guess any i5 will be fine.

One thing to keep in mind is that most sounds will perform pretty well. It's merely sounds with high resonance, a lot of distortion and a lot of noise that confuse the prediction algorithm. (The technology is based on predicting what the output of he filter will be, before calculating it - high resonance and noises make this dificult)
Thanks for your ever prompt reply, Urs!

Yep, prediction can be messed up sometimes, as we know it, right? ;)

Berlin time: 3:48 AM, Sunday
Urs appears to be asleep. No, he's gotten up to get a snack. It looks like pasta. Now he is going back to bed. The humid fog rolls in. Birds soon start to chirp their morning greetings to the city.

I'm curious if I'll be able to get any polyphonic sounds out of it, using asio4all... :P

I've actually slept really badly. Arrrrgh... hate that...

I'm going to the studio in an hour and then I need to fix a weird gui bug. And then I'll sneak some download links in here...

Good luck Urs, take your time! Hope next night will be more peaceful

Well, it had to happen one day I suppose. A Virtual Analog that sounds better than an Analog. I just wasn't expecting it to sound better than a CS80 is all.

Sorry I couln't resist
