Yes it is. Only happened once though, and I have been using Diva all the time with at least two instances. |

I have 4 instances and none produce sound in spite of receiving MIDI. Adding extra instances has the same result, no sound. I tried reopening the project, and rebooting, but I always have the same result. I also tried deleting all instances of Diva, saving the project, closing, opening again, creating a new instance of Diva and still no sound. I am running the latest version of Cubase 6 64 bit and windows 7 Home Premium. |

I don't know about Cubase, but I know that if you seriously overload your CPU in Live it'll shut down the audio engine until you manually turn it back on. Could something like that be happening? ---- Zerocrossing Media http://www.zerocrossing.net 4th Law of Robotics: When turning evil, display a red indicator light. ~[ ●_● ]~ |

Could something like that be happening? Other VST's play fine so it can't be the audio engine. It is very strange though. Diva will not make a sound on this project, but it works in a newly created one. Stranger even is that removing Diva altogether and inserting it again does not fix it. I have to open other older projects and see if they're all like this. |

Hi restless, im a cubase user and i think this is a cubase problem as i have had retrologe do the same to one of my projects in cubase 6.5 were it will not play any sound but is ok if i open another project ,one thing to do is make sure the automation is not down on the volume as your fader will not show the automation down.
regards |

regards Ah, true be told I upgraded both Diva and Cubase at the same time, so this could well be a Cubase issue indeed. I have not observed it with other VST's though. |

Hi,
similar issue here: loaded one first instance of DIVA into cantabile and it worked fine. Then a second one and no sound, MIDI-indication showed MIDI-activity in DIVA. regards, humphrey ---- C7, Forte3.0, Cantabile, jBridge, DIVA, U-NO-LX, PG6K, Halion 4, Komplete 7, Omnisphere, Trilian, Superior Drummer, OP-X Pro-II, VB3, Sylenth1, Stylus RMX, EOS, KH120-A, ARC2 |

I'm not seeing this behavior with Diva 1.1 x64 (674) in Cubase 6.5.0 x64 on Win 7 x64. I've loaded up some older projects, tested new ones, no issues like that so far. Also no problems in Reaper 4.22 x64. I'm wondering if what you're experiencing is related to permissions (i.e.: regarding the supporting Diva files)? If I recall, I had problems with U-he plugins when I had permission issues. I now keep all the supporting files in my default VST installation directory but I also run my Win 7 x64 system with UAC turned OFF. The mere fact of turning UAC off has helped several plugins/installations from several developers.
Anyway, Diva 1.1 x64 appears to be very stable on this system so far. I have not tried the 32-bit version, nor used it with any bridges or other DAW apps. (Side Note: I have not installed the Cubase 6.5.1 update since it's a non-supported release from Steinberg. I'm waiting for the next supported patch.) Good luck! |

The updates are incredible, I'm now able to run Diva smoothly on a mac mini server (quad core 2GHz i7). Phenomenal!
What would be awesome is if the GUI skin editor you guys are developing, will let me visually position the controls and type (e.g. fader vs pot) for Diva to more closely match my controller's layout. Will that be possible? One of the biggest disconnects for me using a soft synth is that the synths layout is always so disimilar to any hardware controller you can buy. And that fraction of a second I need to reorient myself to find which knob to grab, for some reason just seems to break my creative 'flow'. Again, awesome update. Works flawlessly for me |

I'm really sorry if this question has been asked before but going through 200 pages on this thread is just mind boggling I was running through the presets with the up/down arrows on my keypad and was getting some extremely loud bursts of distortion on some presets. changing the presets in the preset menu (slowly one after the other) with the mouse didn't cause this anomaly. Fortunately I listen to music really quietly otherwise there could have been some serious ear/speaker damage. Is this a known bug? |

Seems like fixing the All-Notes-Off issue with some MIDI keyboards got us excessive noise during preset change. We'll be preparing another update shortly, once we get back to normal. |

Thank you for the very quick reply Ok! As long as I know what's what there's an easy work around... lower the volume when changing presets. |

I'm very happy with the new version so far...
There were two single issues that seemed buggy: - Once, while selecting a new preset, Diva was suddenly muted. (couldn't reproduce this, it just happened once) deleting and opening the instance solved the problem. - again once, while changing from "divine" to "draft", Logic crashed. couldn't reproduce this either (since i was looking, if this is a "real" bug); next time, i did this, everything was ok. |
