Which bug is that? I remember that we talked about the articulation selection needing to be "enabled" when an articulation such as palm mutes are selected... |

The bug with the alternating up and down strokes when palm muting chords. When in the MIDI Guitar mode, it will only perform down strokes until it changes a chord then only perform an upstroke until a new chord is performed, if I remember correctly. I don't remember if it happens when it's in the automatic string selection mode though Correction: It also happens in the Automatic Mode as well... in fact, it does it to every articulation... I'd like to think it's just me doing something wrong, but I wrote out a simple powerchord that repeats, loaded up a blank patch, hit play, I tried various articulations but, they're all downstrokes or all up strokes. I didn't use the down stroke or up stroke keyswitches either... I figured if it wasn't me, then others would have this problem... is anyone else experiencing this? |

Two weeks from now at most, hopefully. Yay! I'd also be interested in a pre-order, should you decide to go that route. |

Okay, I finished all the new demo songs. The MIDI files are also included with the product. In fact, I included the MIDI data for the other OTS instruments used in these songs as well as the acoustic guitar MIDI tracks.
The main things that need to be done at this point are to compress the RAR files and upload them to the server, and then work on all the little details relating to the release, but as you can guess, it's very close! |

And after nearly a year in production, Evolution Acoustic Guitar "Steel Strings" is finally released! Thank you all so much for your patience, and I know you're going to love this library--it's definitely the largest, most extensive Orange Tree Samples project yet. The release announcement thread is here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4476399 |

Awesome! Ordering now! Is that you playing fretless on the demo 'The Storyteller'? Awesome playing! That's exactly the kind of application I'll be using Evolution Acoustic for; as a fretless player, it will be my primary means for song building. Thanks Greg, it sounds great! |

That's the middle plucking position in Iconic Bass Jaco. I think it's using the included Joni Mitchell tone model. The MIDI data for this is included in the demo MIDI files, too. |

Bought and downloading. This is perfect timing because I'm off work the next two days.
This is my first orange tree purchase, but based on what I've heard it won't be my last. Thanks Greg! |

Awesome!
And just to reiterate, the big Evolution engine update later this year will apply to both Evolution Electric Guitar as well as this new acoustic guitar library. This free update will have an entirely new script and GUI. With new technology coming out in recent versions of Kontakt, I just want to make sure that even existing products get to take advantage of all the new cool stuff Kontakt can do now. |
