Hello everyone and sorry for my bad english,
I use ZynAddSubFX with TuxGuitar : TuxGuitar -> MIDI Through -> ZynAddSubFX -> System When I do this with Qsynth instead of ZynAddSubFX, Qsynth detect the instruments. It plays a sound of Overdriven Guitar when in TuxGuitar I choose Overdriven Guitar. I'd like that ZynAddSubFX detect the instruments and select a instrument that I decide before. For exemple : When in TuxGuitar I choose Overdriven Guitar, ZynnAddSubFX choose Dist Guitar 5 When in TuxGuitar I choose Distorted Guitar, ZynnAddSubFX choose Trash Guitar 1 ... Because, I have otherwise to create 2 files for 1 score. Thanks for your help. |

Hi, you can make 16 guitar parts in zynaddsubfx, as it is multi-timbral.
You will need to choose the number 2 for the second sound, click the box 'enabled', and on the right of the gui, at MIDI Chn Rcv change its midi channel down to 1, to hear all the sounds as 1 layer. Same for 3 and 4 and 5... Your CPU and memory will limit the possible number of the available 16 sounds. Complicated sounds can use all the CPU long before you get to 16. Look in the Banks and Patches up above, to find new sounds, there are a few soundbanks and sounds to download. Tuxguitar has no connection for zynaddsubfx that I know of. Cheers |

I know. My probleme is that I have to create 2 files for 1 score : the .tg and the .xmz. And when I want to work on a score, I have to load the 2 files. |
