Hi everyone,
I've just finished my first serious project, and it's called The Sanctuary EP. It's an electro/dubstep/drum&bass 6 track EP that you can listen and download for free here : - https://soundcloud.com/dcnstrkt (each track separately) - www.dcnstrkt.com (as a pack with an hd version of the cover art included) This is a very personal project that I finally made after some years of making unfinished tracks and remixes. It's meant to be played from track 1 to track 6 (as MP3 from the website, they are chained). I'm not going to tell you that it is awesome or something like this, just feel free to try it whether it's for the full ride or for a tiny bit. If you like it, a feedback over there or a share with you friends would mean a lot to me. I'd really love to hear if what I create can reach anyone out there. (I also have a little facebook page if you want to tell something http://www.facebook.com/DcnStrkt) So, thank you if you read this, thank you if you listen and so on. See you later ! Alex/DcnStrkt |

Well done Alex. I'm listening to it as I type. Very enjoyable. I think it has a bit of an 80s darkwave/gothic feel which I happen to like. I can tell how much care and effort you put into this project.
The website looks good. According to my wife, the Chinese characters on the website do roughly translate to "sanctuary." She translated them as "peaceful god place." It was an interesting conversation. My only very minor complaint is sonically the mix tends to favor buzzy mid-range frequencies. Overall, very nice job. |

As I said on Soundcloud, thank you !
About the chinese characters, I collaborated with a friend of mine on all the graphical elements and he just used Google Translate to get that. It's pretty cool that a real translation don't go into something completely different I take good note about your mix opinion, I have a loooot to learn ! Thank you ! Alex |
