For those of you who prefer the Refresh button on the left where it truly belongs:
Select View - Toolbars - Customize While the Customize panel is open, drag the Refresh button over to its old home on the left of the address bar. Can do the same with Home button. Also discovered that Tab Mix Plus addon was killing the search bar in 4 for me. Day 3 with 4 is better than day 2 so far. ---- perception: the stuff reality is made of. |

Been running FF4 for about a week and no problems. Not too much different than 3.6 for me... YMMV
Import/Export bookmarks is now under "show all bookmarks". Threw me for a loop when I was trying to figure out how to back them up... Oh and there's no save and quit option when you close your session by default (kinda stupid IMO). Just google how to set it to default as I don't remember how to do it exactly, but it's not difficult to set up.* EDIT. Here's how: Type 'about:config' in the address bar, then search for 'browser.showQuitWarning' and set it to 'true'. I'd update hibidy. not a big deal really... ---- Interested in 10% off Fabfilter stuff? (First time customers only.) Don't like FF4 much at all. Managed to customize it a bit so that the buttons and layout is back to what I like, but the damn thing keeps crashing. For some reason it also stutters some video. Even IE7 is better with YouTube.
I think Firefox is getting progressively worse and IE is getting better. At least there is one other: Chrome, which is also starting to become usuable. |

I'm using version 3.6, and it looks exactly like this, at any zoom level. So it's probably something else... Anyway I find keeping up to date with software very irritating, I'm not upgrading until I have a very good reason to. |

Anyway I find keeping up to date with software very irritating, I'm not upgrading until I have a very good reason to. That has been my stance so far but then you find a couple of things that you think would be a nice feature, you hear some people stating it's better and all that and it digs at that thing buried inside "new and improved.....new and improved" |

Anyway I find keeping up to date with software very irritating, I'm not upgrading until I have a very good reason to. That's why I use FF 3.6.13. Software is 'upgraded for many reasons, including psychological, political, and financial reasons regarding the company and people who make the product. Consumers, assuming there must be something to the 'upgrade,' rush to get the thing. Hey, did you 'upgrade' to MS Vista? |
