Yes. I've only seen the 1992 Directors Cut and the original. The Director's Cut had these changes:
The removal of Deckard's explanatory voice-over
The insertion of a dream sequence of a unicorn running through a forest
The removal of the studio-imposed "happy ending", including some associated visuals which had originally run under the film's end-credits. This made the film end ambiguously when the elevator doors closed.

Wiki states there was a big argument between Scott and the Producer. Scott maintained that Dekker was actually a Replicant. Harrison Ford and the Producer thought he was human.

Good News/Bad News: There may be a sequel Crying or Very sad
Christopher Nolan may direct it We're not worthy.... Wheeeeeee

The Final Cut is worth seeing; updated fx really look good and a couple of dodgy bits corrected (removal of visible cables from the spinners, replacement of that daft dove scene at the end where the dove flies up into a blue sky past an industrial unit, so obviously not the rainy roof of the apt. block... Smile)

Sequel? A lot of films have been inspired by it that it would have to be pretty special to stand out.

Apparently, 'Soldier' (kurt russell actioner) is set in the Bladerunner universe, written by the guy who co-wrote BR. And I thought the 'Tanhauser Gate' references were just them being cheeky.

There's been a sequel. Two of them in fact. They're books, but were written by Philip K Dick's protege, K.W. Jeter. They, very successfully, tie Bladerunner together with Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, which is the PKD novel BR is derived from, and resolve pretty much all of the 'issues' that BR had (eg the 6th replicant and Dekkard as replicant stuff). Even introduces the original Roy Batty.

Well worth reading. As is anything else by KW Jeter, except maybe Mantis.

Battle Beyond the Stars - Classic 1980's sci-fi. Reasons to watch:
1) Sybil Danning's outfit:

2) Richard Thomas, Robert Vaughn, George Peppard

3)Produced by Roger Corman

4) James Cameron was on the special fx team(one of his first jobs)

5)Music by James Horner - in which you can hear an early version of what appears to sound like one of his later Star Trek movie themes.

1980;s cheese, but cheese of the best kind. Very refreshing to see everything done with actual models (even if a lot of it looks very Battlestar Galactica 1980's) with actual miniature landscapes, i.e. (no computers)

Tried to finish up being human. Looks like I missed an episode but got the last one which wraps things up nicely enough. Now we'll have none of the original cast which is weird.

I don't really watch it much, so it's okay. Smile

I thought the first cast was great, and I've only seen one or two episodes of the new cast, but it does seem strange that even Annie won't be there.
