up to date versions mixed in hifi speakers, still have to find a way to finalize it with real monitors/sub in a real room
http://ge.tt/87l3ic4 --------------- see my last post fo rthe latest versions, i leave the other inks for reference http://ge.tt/4kqEHmW (i'm posting the folder to avoid clogging the music player with 20 tracks at once) (mirror here if ge.tt blocks the files http://tweetmysong.com/o92b92 ) Here are the UNMIXED (some not even structured) tracks of the new double album, please give me all feedback regarding composition and arrangement, keeping in mind that the mixing is not final and most of the automation/drum fills are still to do i'm gonna rent a studio/control room for a couple of day next month to finalize the mixing (and depending on my budget, the mastering) so i need any/every possible advice, info on how it sounds, kicks too long, too boomy, hats volume and all, keep in mind tho it's not mixed, just overally balanced with headphones and computer speakers (with a sub, but still very low quality) here's one, the others are in the 1st reply Transistor Casino Last edited by Muzik 4 Machines on Sun May 29, 2011 7:37 am; edited 6 times in total |

i see it as my passport to play in places, that's the song girlies will dance to around their handbags in suburban clubs, then they'll invite me to play there, and maybe i'll even go as far as playing make me wet in the encore thanks for listening/commenting |

You are onto something good with the Make me Wet track. Had a good listen. Love the Benny Benassi electro worm. Glad to see you doing something commercial. That will def work on the dance floor. You know what you're doing so mix it to the max. Cheers |

... Make me wet is really great. No disrespect to the singers/singer but I find the accent a little off putting, would it be possible to get an American sounding girl on it? If not maybe voices that have a bit more tongue in cheek attitude.
This song could be really big IMHO but you might think about a radio friendlier version by changing dick and clit to something else like Cee Lo did with F*ck You. And a little rap part might not hurt either. I think you have some very commercial sounding tracks but once again I personally miss a vocal here and there. Great stuff ... Good luck. I wish you lots of success |

thanks a lot, ill see if i can change signer but i might be better to just do another song with the american girl
as for the rap, it shure will hurt my ears beyond repair if i can find vocalists some of the instrumentals, they might end up with vocals, but its hard to find a good girl here in quebec accent wise |

It's hard to find any girl accent or not to include in your tracks or actually work with.
Anyway as soon as that song is ready put me on your mailing list or PM me so I can buy it. Had another listen and all you need to do in my opinion is keep the vocal up as the centre piece of the mix. I can hear the girls calling my name as they are having there climax/orgasm. As far as accent is concerned the french canadian accent is ok. See if you can look up/find aussie group Vandalism or Madison avenue. Female electro is meant to be aggressive/attitude. Dev featuring far east movement is another example. (booty bounce) What synths did you use for your production. Electribe. I also think you are on the right track as far as recognition. Make it in the studio, play it in the club, you play in club, you sell in club. That's why you were quiete on forum for a while. You were up to something......good Yes maybe a short rap wouldn't hurt and possibly repeat a verse or chorus again. Cheers |

thanks, its hard finding a girl with no accent here in quebec lol
i'll check those groups the song was mostly a joke we composed drunk after listening to lick my ice cream or something by deadmau5 what about the other songs, the one i did cause i was tired of hearing her? as far as production, there is no hardware involved (yet) mostly logic instruments bass is em1 organ evb3 piano evp88 fm8 was used and a couple track from blue fx are 90% logic except for a couple freebies distortion (fuzz+2) and camelspace (to replace the sl20 i will track some nord, mks and tx this weekend to replace the software placeholders in most songs |
