sorry, if this has been asked before, but i couldn't find something...
i tried to use some audiounits with zen (1.6.1.) in logic express 9.1.3. (os 10.6.7) but on most (after locating it) i get an error like: Quote: Plugin file (/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/TAL-U-No_62.component) load error
followed by Quote: Effect ID mismatch: expected 32336435, found 000000000
it doesn't work (for example) with fabfilter One, tal U-No 62, u-he TyrellN6... it works with u-he ace and zebra. all newest versions. did i made a mistake or missing something? thx in advance. |

btw tried to use the vst-version of fabfilter One in logic and it worked.
couldn't try the other ones, because i normally don't install or use the vst-versions. is this the only workaround? hope not...  |

Yes it is the only way - Zen doesn't load Audiounits. I guess the reason why it works with ace and zebra, is that the AU or VST versions are actually the same thing.
Consider it a benefit - it allows to load vst's in hosts that would only support audiounits otherwise  |

(as there is nearly no plugin that is vst-only). |
