had some ?s that maybe someone experienced with the above could help out with

Debating on getting one of the above compressors, but wondering what differences I'd find in compression/color characteristics between them. Or what sources they work best on, perhaps how they can abused/used creatively :D Can anyone help show me the light?

Also... with Roundtone I noticed the ability to do multitrack (im guessing like a Studer setup). When Roundtone is used like this is there any interaction between instances such a xtalk or the like? Would love to hear anyones experience on using this plugin in regular vs multitrack...

what I know of roundtone (but absolutely not sure!!) is the linking is more to link settings, no inter-process stuff like Strip has.

And as a tape-emulation, I would not rate it as a compressor / limiter.. while it has similar qualities of course
